Judi Brandow, the owner and creator of Visits With a Victorian Lady®, is an author, dramatic artist, seminar speaker and singer residing in Golden, Colorado. She and her husband have six sons, two yet at home and four grown and on their own. They are also proud grandparents of three grandsons! Judi's passion for the gentility and simplicity of the 1800s was born on the wings of curiosity early in her life, in part due to childhood visits with her great-grandparents who lived in that time-frame. Starting in her grade-school years, Judi began to amass a large collection of vintage books, scrapbooks, magazines, and ephemera that would eventually provide her with a rich and varied resource for researching her scripts and other writing. Winning a local contest in 1990 for her authentic costuming and portrayal of a Victorian woman was the catalyst for Judi's beginning Visits With a Victorian Lady®. Since 1990, Judi has performed her Visits With a Victorian Lady® musical dramatic vignettes for a variety of groups including museums, service organizations, corporate functions, conventions, churches, shops, state fairs and the Federal Women's Program. |
